Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cost of your services?
Service costs vary greatly. A simple hydro flush and camera scope of perimeter drainage system with our top of the line equipment is $895 for a residential home. When it comes leaking foundations and water coming into a home, costs start from a couple thousand and go up from there.
Can you provide references?
We have many google reviews and references upon request.
How long will the project take?
Drain cleaning takes on average 1-3 hours. Leaking foundations would greatly depend on the problem. 1 day – one month. Average home drainage replacement is around a week.
What equipment do you use?
We have a trailer mounted hydro-jetting machine for cleaning of your perimeter drainage. Not just a small pressure washer like some of the cheaper companies. When washing a perimeter drainage system the key is having adequate pressure and more importantly water volume and proper jetter heads. At groundhog we also own our own hydro vacuum excavator as well as 2 skid steers and 10 conventional excavators.
Do you offer warranties or guarantees for your work?
Warranties very depending on the job.
How do you handle unexpected problems during excavation?
We don’t typically come across unexpected problems, but if we do the home owner would be notified and a game plan would be set in place to tackle the issues.
Do you have insurance coverage?
Yes we have 5 million liability.
Can you handle permits and local regulations?
Yes we handle the permit process if needed.
How do you minimize damage to property during excavation?
If requested at time of quoting we can lay plywood down to protect as much grass as possible.
Can you provide a detailed project plan and timeline?
Yes our detailed quotes will lay everything out for the customer.
